Shaun Finn’s single ‘Times Are Changing’ picks up where his previous single ‘Rise’ left off. Head banging, fist thumping, foot-tapping rock and roll music.
Lyrics tell a condensed story of life. Questioning things we all did when we were 23, where should we be in life? Should I be driving a car? Should I move abroad? Like many of us, Shaun doesn’t have the answer, but he does have a voice that needs to be heard.
Rise

After taking a year away from music to finish college and travel, Shaun return with his single ‘Rise’ in May 2023. ‘Rise’ is Shaun’s most critically acclaimed single to date. Receiving widespread radio play across the airwaves of Ireland, The UK, USA and Canada.
Embracing a new punk rock style, Finn proved with this release he can do more than write emotional ballads, he also knows how to rock out and infect you with a foot tapping rhythm.
Galway

Galway topped the Irish iTunes charts upon its release. Galway followed in the footsteps of Finn’s EP ‘Late Replies’, returning to a familiar sound with an emotional power ballad accompanied by regular collaborator Aaron McCarthy on Drums.
This song details the conflict inside someone who is losing a friend. Should they be selfish and tell them how they feel about them moving on to a new life, or should they stand by and watch them ‘live their life’ for lack of a better term.

Shaun Finn’s debut EP. Recorded in studio and at home. This project was Finn’s first venture into releasing body of music. Shaun views this as more of a personal success than a commercial success.
The songs on this EP are some of the earliest songs Shaun wrote as a young songwriter and because of that are quiet raw and rough around the edges, but that is the appeal of this EP. Nothing is perfect, but it is because of this release Finn was able to grow as a writer, a musician and as a person. Siting this release as a new beginning in his personal and musical life.

Fallen Flowers

Following the release of his debut single, Fallen Flower’s takes a heavier approach with Aaron McCarthy appearing on drums. Recorded in Oblivion Recording Studio’s in August 2020.
Fallen Flowers in many aspects is a love song with a darker meaning behind it. ‘There’s a man in the street and he’s watching you walk by’, Finn gives more of a haunting take on a typical love song.
Live My Life

Finn’s debut release on all major streaming services. ‘Live My Life’ was heard across Irish Radio at the end of 2020. The likes of Today FM, Radio Nova, iRadio and more playing the track.
A ballad in line with the influence of James Taylor,
Finn showcases his raw emotions on this track. A live performance of this track took of on social media, inspiring Finn to release his first set of songs, feeling that this would the perfect song to start his musical venture with.
